October  2014 term of Grand Jury handed down 38 Felony Indictments.  The trials for these individuals will be held in January 2015.  Charges ranged from Burglary, Robbery, Grand Larceny, Aggravated Assault and Possession of Contraband in a Correctional Facility.

April 2015 term of Grand Jury handed down 45 Felony Indictments.  The trials on these cases will be held in October 2015.  Charges ranged from Burglary, Grand Larceny, Felon in Possession of a firearm, Possession of Contraband, Possession of Cocaine, Methamphetamine, Marijuana, and Forgery-Uttering.

Next term of Grand Jury will be October 2015.

I would also like to thank the citizens of this county that serve on our Grand Jury and Petit Jury.   You are a major part of our local justice system.  It takes all of us working together to keep Kemper County a safe place to live.
