04-04-14 Arrest made from traffic stop for Possession of Controlled Substance.

 

04-04-14  Female arrested for stabbing a male subject on Bluff Springs Road in Preston.

 

04-06-14  Breaking and Entering at Dry Creek Baptist Church on Hwy 397, where speakers were taken.  Speakers were recovered and arrest made.

 

04-07-14   Identity case by fraudulent use of debit card.

 

04-08-14   Male subject arrested on Baptist Springs Road for possession of Crystal Meth.

 

04-08-14  Female shot on Otha Roberts Road.  One male arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault.

 

4-11-14    Male arrested for assault from a disturbance call on Vardaman Road, off Hwy 16 W.

 

4-13-14   2012 Polaris Ranger Side by Side was stolen from a camp on Mr. Hebron Church Road; a trailer was also taken but later found on a logging road a short distance from the camp.

 

04-18-14   A drink machine at Kemper Springs Community Center was vandalized.

 

04-27-14   Female arrested for attempting to take contraband into the Correctional Facility.

 

04-22-14  Three catalytic converters were stolen off vehicles on 33 Rocky Road in Preston.

 

04-21-14  EMEPA reported theft of utilities from a residence on Luther Craft Road.

 

The April Term of Grand Jury handed down Indictments on 34 people.  Cases will be heard in the next term of Circuit Court, which will be in July.
